I recently had occasion to employ J D Kent Building Services for some work at home, including the creation of a utility room, building out the front of our garage, brickwork, building, joinery, electrical work and plumbing. I had selected two builders to request quotes, and although the prices were sililar, selected J D Kent based upon the professional attitude of John Kent When arriving for a quote, John also brought photographic examples of other works completed and offered references if required.
Immediately after selecting J D Kent we were kept informed of the timescale for commencement of works, and J D Kent commenced when they said they would. Despite the fact that the works caused disruption to the family home, and access was required there were never any issues with the company’s workforce entering and leaving our property, whether we were in or at work. The two members of the team who attended on site with John were pleasant, courteous and cleaned up at the end of each working day.
I found communication with John very easy, and any amends to the programme of works were discussed openly, and alternatives advised by John if necessary. The work executed by John and his team, along with his professional sub-contractors was to a high standard, and executed to the timescale provided.
I would have no hesitation in recommending J D Kent Building Services to friends, family or colleagues, as stated earlier the work was completed to a high standard, with the minimum of disruption to our home. Even if John was not on site, and sub-contractors were undertaking work, John always called in at the end of the day to inspect works and check that we were satisfied
